Some of my photos have been described as "painterly”, which makes me happy since that acknowledges my attention to composition. A fair number of my photos are of nature, animals, statues…and many are from travels with my wife, Darcy Lynn (who took the above photo of me when we were in Botswana). I owe my initial interest in photography to my father who was a professional photographer, as well as a photo retoucher and an airbrush stencil artist. I'm happy that I've had my photographs exhibited in dozens of exhibits nationally and internationally since 2008.
